A lively spatial installation materialized by a modular assembly

The team’s main goal when designing this spatial divider was to prioritize human interaction and the experience the form could produce. Due to the materiality and static nature of the brief, we aimed to give the divider a dynamic feel through the implied movement of the modules. The design would articulate not only the division of space but also carve out spatial zones within and around the structure, consequently acting not only as a space divider but also as a space creator. We hoped to achieve these qualities while limiting the complexity of our assembly to three basic components.
